CAPITAL PROSPECTS BASEBALL

Capital Prospects Baseball is an elite college showcase team for high school players in the Washington, D.C. area. The organization’s primary focus is to put its players in the best situation possible to be seen by the maximum amount of college coaches. Capital Prospect Baseball (CPB) teams will attend National Showcase Tournaments such as; Prep Baseball Report, Perfect Game, Dynamic, and Prospect Select tournaments throughout the country to maximize exposure. CPB will play a full summer and fall combination schedule of week-long and weekend tournaments.
Each team will have its own designated recruiting coordinator with the dedicated purpose to find the best college fit for each player so they will succeed in their future career. The recruiting coordinator will organize and put together a personalized plan with each player and their family, mapping out the best path possible for the player to present themselves infront of the colleges of their choice for the best possible fit. All CPB players will have the opportunity to have multiple recruiting videos made and sent directly to the colleges of their choice. CPB recruiting coordinators will utilize all aspects of modern recruiting techniques from personalized emails to schools and twitter exposure, all while using the close personal contacts between themselves and current college coaches.
Once selected to a team, participation throughout the winter offseason is at the discretion of each individual player to best fit their commitment with high school team workouts and other sports. Although optional, CPB will provide weekly indoor winter training practices focusing on individual player skills. Also available to players will be strength & conditioning workout sessions with top tier speed and weight training coaches in the area.
The overall goal of the Capital Prospects Baseball is to gather the best players in the D.C. area onto one team and put them in the best situation possible for each individual player to be seen by colleges best fit for their future career. The focus of the summer & fall games will be a balance of developing each player’s individual skills into the college game, showcasing the skills of each player to match their best possible fit into college baseball, and winning.

Tryouts for the 2024 & 2025 graduating classes for the Summer 2022 season will be held at the end of October.
